How to play
- Throw starts a free piece; Copy lets you pick one of twelve classic forms to copy, its outline drawn behind your pot; Shelf shows what you have made.
- Centre: press and hold the side of the spinning lump until it stops wobbling.
- Open: press down on the middle of the lump, leave a finger’s thickness of floor, then draw outward.
- Pull: drag from the foot up to the rim, along the wall, in one go. Each pull makes the wall taller and thinner.
- Shape: a finger on the pot’s body dragged outward swells it from inside; a finger beside the wall dragged inward brings it in; a stroke down onto the rim presses it level.
- Follow (on the left while copying) shows the next stroke: where to put your finger, which way to go and how fast. Your own stroke is drawn in red beside it. Tap the word to turn it off or on.
- Tools lie in the bottom-left corner; tap one to pick it up and tap it again to put it down. The rib smooths the wall; the needle carves a line or trims the rim; the wire, swiped across under the pot, cuts it off the wheel when you are done.
- Wheel speed: drag the brush stroke at the bottom. Two fingers turn the view or look down into the pot.
- Glaze, kiln: drag the pot down into a vat, drag it up into the kiln, and draw the lid off when the firing is done.
- At the piece’s plate, drag to turn it; tap anywhere else to put it on the shelf.
Questions
My pot collapsed.
Clay gives way when a wall gets too thin, too tall for its foot, or is pushed too far at once, and a fast wheel throws a wide pot outward. Work in several gentle strokes, and slow the wheel as the pot grows. A collapsed pot can still be glazed and fired; “Start over” in the bottom-right corner gives you a new lump.
How do I remove a piece I don’t like?
Take it down from the shelf (or look at it on its plate, just out of the kiln) and tap “Discard” in the top-right corner, then tap again to confirm. This cannot be undone.
How do I keep my pieces on a new phone?
Pieces are saved only on your device. They move to a new phone with an iCloud or computer backup of the old one.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone XS / XR or newer, on iOS 15 or later.
Can I change the language?
Yes: “中 · EN” in the top-right corner of the menu switches between Chinese and English. By default the game follows your device’s language.
Where are the privacy policy and the licences?
“About”, in the top-left corner of the menu.

怎么玩
- 拉坯：随手做一件；临摹：从十二种经典器形里选一种照着做，它的轮廓画在坯的后面；陈列：看你做过的东西。
- 定中：长按转着的泥团的侧面，等它不晃了再松手。
- 开口：从泥团正中按下去，留一指厚的底，再往旁边拉开。
- 拉高：从脚往上一口气拉到口，贴着墙。每拉一遍，墙更高、更薄。
- 塑形：手指放在坯身上往外拖，是从里面把它撑开；手指放在墙的外侧往里拖，是把它收进去；从上往下划到口沿，是把口压平。
- 跟着做（临摹时在左边）会示范下一笔：手指放哪儿、往哪儿走、走多快；你自己走过的路用朱线画在旁边。点这三个字可以关掉或打开。
- 工具在左下角，点一下拿起、再点一下放下。刮片把墙磨平；针可以刻纹、切口沿；做完了用钢丝从坯底下横着划过去，把坯割下来。
- 轮速：拖底下那一笔墨。两根手指可以转视角、从上面往坯里看。
- 施釉、入窑：把坯往下拖进釉缸，往上拖进窑，烧好以后把匣钵的盖子拖开。
- 在签条那一屏拖着可以转着看；点别处就放上架。
坯塌了？
墙太薄、太高而脚太小、或者一下推得太多，泥就撑不住；轮车转得快，宽的坯会被甩开。分几笔轻轻地做，坯长大了就把轮速降下来。塌了的坯照样可以上釉烧出来；右下角的「重做」换一团新泥。
不喜欢的作品怎么删？
从架上拿下来（或者刚出窑、在签条上的时候），点右上角的「不要了」，再点一下确认。删了不能恢复。
换手机怎么保留作品？
作品只保存在设备上，用 iCloud 或电脑备份恢复到新手机就会一起带过去。
支持哪些设备？
iPhone XS / XR 及以后的机型，系统 iOS 15 或更新。
可以换语言吗？
可以：菜单右上角的「中 · EN」在中文和英文之间切换。默认跟随手机的语言。
隐私政策和开源许可在哪里？
菜单左上角的「关于」。
